《Everlong》由美国摇滚乐队Foo Fighters演唱。这首歌于1997年8月发行，是他们第二张录音室专辑《The Colour and the Shape》中的第二支单曲。

Foo Fighters由美国经典摇滚乐队Nirvana前鼓手Dave Grohl组建。Dave Grohl 最早从未打算把 Foo Fighters 当做一个职业乐队。他独自在当地的一个录音棚中完成了首张专辑后，得到的巨大反响让他才认真起来，所以在第二张专辑《The Colour and the Shape》上才会变得更加精良。尽管这张专辑的大多数歌曲都是 Dave Grohl 在演出的路上积累的素材，但“Everlong”这首歌则是因为 Dave Grohl 在录音棚弹错和弦而后创作出的。

在录制“Monkey Wrench”时，Dave Grohl 使用 Drop-D 的调弦方式演奏吉他，他尝试摆弄了各种不同和弦的按法，然后这时出现了一个非常完美的不和谐和弦。而 Dave Grohl 很喜欢这个和弦流露出的情感，他围绕这个和弦就此创作出了一首新歌，于是“Everlong”成为 Foo Fighters 乐队最受欢迎的歌曲之一。
